The Book of Hebrews is little in the eyes of the Church when it comes to study, and it is often put on the back burner, and yet, it is the only book in all of Scripture that even mentions the priesthood of the Lord Jesus, and deals with all of the benefits of that priesthood to us, as the children of God.
The qualifications of a priest is set so high that it is beyond the ability of any organization or any man to satisfy God’s requirements. God wants us to understand (as redeemed citizens of heaven) we have no need of an earthly Aaron, or any priest on earth; for only one Priest is approved of God, and that is the Man (the glorified Man) Jesus Christ.
God has set a certain order. In everything that He created He established it’s proper place, and proper position . . .
We have all heard the expression ‘the evil eye,’ this is so true in the realm of man. The Lord wants us to understand that an evil eye can have power over our entire being, and the more that we feed the evil eye with the lust of the flesh, the more defilement comes out of man.
Man in his fallen state, and for reasons that are not worthy of his motive, has devised an elaborate surveillance system all over the world with listening mechanisms to spy on the inhabitants of earth in every conceivable area of life. If man can circumvent planet earth with such devices that track movements, and can listen to almost every human being, why then, cannot the Creator of heaven and earth do the same, and much more.
If you depend on man for truth, you have stepped into the deepest pit of deception, for it is the word of God, and the Spirit of God that holds the divine truth, and only through the divine Spirit of God can man understand and enter in to the very holiness of the written word of God.
Man has been studying this book for thousands of years, and no one has exhausted the truth found within it’s pages. The difference of understanding comes in the presence of the Spirit of God. A man without the Spirit of God cannot comprehend the divine truths within it’s pages. Anyone who is enlightened by the Spirit of God finds that it is the Spirit of God who has not only given the book, but also it’s interpretation.
