Giants in the Earth
Part ii
Genesis 6:1-7
I suggest that you read Part i before continuing with this article. Just a suggestion, a smart suggestion!
The primary goal of Satan was, and is, to hinder the purposes of God. In the age of the antediluvians it was to completely annihilate any possibility of ‘the godly seed’ surviving through an age of depravity, wanton murder and sin. Satan didn’t care then, and he doesn’t care now how many humans perish. (Here it comes . . . even the babies, do you think that people who proudly advocate abortion care about babies?) Satan didn’t care then, and he and his followers don’t care about them now.
In the age of Israel, the main goal of Satan was to stop at all cost (at the cost of mankind) the process of ‘the godly seed’ to ever accomplish and fulfill God’s purpose and plan through the nation of Israel. God, therefore, separated Abraham from the influences of family and idolatry, and through Abraham God created a people in Jacob, then God freed His people from the slavery of Egypt, then God created His nation at Sinai, then He separated His nation in the wilderness to teach and strengthen them for the battle ahead, then He separated them from other nations when He directed them into His land. They again had to be separated from their sin of idolatry, and He judged them through their captivity in Babylon. Again and again God separated His people from the evil that had overtaken them. For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. (Deuteronomy 7:6) You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities. (Amos 3:2)
The trials, the judgments, and the failures that Israel endured the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ has experienced, and is experiencing, and will yet experience. But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: (1 Peter 2:9) For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? (1 Peter 4:17)
The Separation Principle: Unity or Truth
The principle of separation is very relevant to our Church age, in that many groups, denominations, and organizations that call themselves Christians are daily pressured to unite within themselves to accept and allow sin to take control of their group. From the very beginning of Scripture God has provided a guide whereby His righteousness is defined. God accepts nothing outside His righteousness and holiness. This is His standard. The Bible is His written guide, and the Lord Jesus Christ is His Living Word, and the Holy Spirit is the guide who dwells within each and every Christian. If you are not guided by His written Word, and His living Word, and His indwelling Spirit then you are not His. I would say that this is very explicit. If you don’t like this, then go to another website! But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. (Romans 8:9) For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. (Romans 8:14)
Sexual corruption (long ago) filtered into Christendom. The term ‘Christendom’ does not imply that all under the umbrella of Christendom are Christians. Those who are not Christians have been indoctrinated to accept practically every organization that even rubs up against a bible or uses the word ‘god’ for being Christian: this is a fallacy. Do you think that pedophilia is a recent occurrence committed in the dungeons and backrooms of church buildings? Well, it is not some recent phenomenon! (Actually it is not a phenomenon nor is it a psychiatric disorder . . . it is . . . here we go . . . I am about to use a word that will not be tolerated . . . it is SIN! The sin of pedophilia is homosexuality exploiting the young. It is not rare, or unusual or exceptional so therefore it is not a phenomenon (these sins have been recorded in Scripture far back in history) nor is the sin of acceptance, and the sin of approval, and the sin of silence against these heinous acts a recent thing. Do not forget those wearing religious robes, nor carrying religious books or the Bible, nor uttering ‘God’ or ‘Christ’ makes a Christian. The tragedy is in the total landscape of this corruption: the slaves who have been captured cannot escape and accept that the organization that they call ‘the Church’ is in reality NOT the Church of God. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, (2 Corinthians 6:17)
What has this all to do with this article on Giants in the Earth? Be patient. I’m trying to lay down some biblical history, and some background not only on the giants, but also on the people of this ancient world. As the sons and daughters of Adam and Eve propagated through centuries and centuries, they had no history to look back on outside of Adam’s sin and rebellion against their Creator. The societies that they built on had no barriers to their sin. Seth, however, was the son appointed by God (in place of Abel) to be the channel through which God would work in grace and in His righteousness. Notice the words grace and righteousness (these words will be the central to the descendants of Seth). Then, the seed of evil, Cain and his descendants would play a predominant role in the overthrow of all of humanity, that is, except for one man. Yes — one man (and his immediate family for the total of eight souls) would survive the complete annihilation of mankind. Wow, that it not only a mouth full, but it is a mind full of . . . why? . . . how? . . . could that have happened? How could a civilization full of newness, full of freshness of life deteriorates so quickly? Exactly, it wasn’t so quickly. Thousands of years spanned from Adam to Noah.
Look what has happened in the short history of the nation of the United States from the first settlers of pilgrims on our shores in 1620 to the declaration of the unification of sovereign states into a nation in 1776: 156 years marked from an epic of heroic individualism for religious freedom to the proclamation of a national freedom. Yes, a lot can happen in 156 and much more in the next 242 years. To this date of 2018 this nation has barely survived through all the assaults of those who have tried to annihilate it, and are still attempting to annihilate it through political intrigue and a very obvious coup d’état by those who lost control over the people in the 2016 election. Three hundred and ninety-eight (398) years are just a blink of an eye in the total span of time in the age of the antediluvians, or the age of the pre-flood world. These assaults have come from without and from within. These aggressors are quite visible now through their violence and hatred against God, His grace and His righteousness.
The world of Noah is the world of today. The aggressor then is the same aggressor today. The same hatred then is the same hatred now. The battleground of the ancients is the same battle plan of today: divide and conquer. Divide men against women, women against men, brown against white, white against white, black against black, children against their parents, parents against authority, poor again rich, wealthy against non-wealthy, sluggards against workers, but it is all hidden in man against man, and therefore man against himself. I have the total solution, but many will not care about the solution. The center of all this ‘againstness’ or this ‘resistence’ is man against God. As long as mankind fights against God and His sovereign claims over His creatures and His creation man will never be at peace with others because he is not at peace within himself because he is not at peace with His Creator.
The Lord Jesus Christ connected the age of Noah to the end of all the ages of humanity.
But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (Matthew 24:37)
For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, (Matthew 24:38)
And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (Matthew 24:39)
I’m sorry, did I make you feel bad? Do you not comprehend that mankind will one day cease to exist? Can you not fathom that one day mankind will have to answer to God for all the sins of mankind? The age of Noah is relevant to us.The age of Noah shows us the hideousness of sin and how sin corrupts until all are consumed, and all were consumed except for eight souls.
How did that age unite together against God? In 2018 we (the inhabitants of the world and the enslaved enforced listeners of globalists theology) have become experts in unification. There are two types of listeners: those who actually believe global theology, and those who dispute and challenge the irrationality of this one world theology. One world theology used to be treated as a myth, but no longer because we have become victims of this theology. This very corruption has not only infiltrated into Christendom, but it is rooted deep into the fiber of the economic, financial, and educational systems of many nations. Unification without truth, outside of God’s truth is not unification, but it is united rebellion against God and against God’s truth. The godly (in the antediluvian world) fell to sin through mixed marriages with the ungodly. Fair words of ‘love’ and ‘unity’ and ‘we are all the same’ and ‘God does not judge’ and ‘hath God said’ and ‘thou shalt not surely die’ these were the words used by the chief theology major: Satan. The inhabitants of the earth in Noah’s age were united because they had become solidified (many centuries previously to Noah) in their idolatrous religious acceptance that sin was good and ‘righteousness’ was evil.
And Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Your fathers dwelt on the other side of the flood in old time, [even] Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods. (Joshua 24:2)
Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD. (Joshua 24:14)
United together in idolatry they not only worshiped many gods, but they corrupted themselves with the practices and daily acts that exemplified idolatry. The New Testament is quite clear in teaching us what idolatry entails:
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, (Galatians 5:19)
Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, (Galatians 5:20)
Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. (Galatians 5:21)
Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: (Colossians 3:5)
Men and Man
I do not want to deviate from the goal at hand and therefore, I will now shift back to the days of Noah in Genesis 6:1-7.
And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, (Genesis 6:1)
That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. (Genesis 6:2)
And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. (Genesis 6:3)
There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. (Genesis 6:4)
And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. (Genesis 6:5)
And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. (Genesis 6:6)
And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. (Genesis 6:7)
The Word of God is so perfect . . . the Spirit of God didn’t miss, His message is very clear. Even in the numbers we see the message loud and clear. What am I babbling about? The word ‘man’ and the word ‘men’ reveal the message. Five times the word ‘man’ is recorded, and five times the word ‘men’ is recorded. So what? Don’t you see it? There is a double message here. Noah was the tenth generation from God. The number ten is God’s perfect order, the cycle is complete, there is nothing to be added to accomplish God’s purpose. And then we have this number ten hidden in the very verses that spell out doom and the coming judgment against mankind: the cycle of man’s sin is complete. But . . . but in this hidden number ten God reveals something about Himself beyond the judgment: the number five. Mankind will not be completely annihilated, God in His grace (double grace) (5 + 5) will not only provide a way for humanity to live on, but He will provide a path wherein mankind will be able to live eternally. God’s grace is open for the individual (man), and it is available for all (men). God’s message (presented by the Holy Spirit) moves from judgment (I will destroy man) — to grace (5) — to eternal life (5+5=10) in the numbers hidden in the words of God’s through God’s sure judgment on humanity. Isn’t the Word of God beyond description? How can anyone not love the Word of God? How can any say that the Word of God is boring, or dead, or meaningless? Scripture lives because God has instilled His power and truth on every page, in every word, and in every space between every word.
The Daughters of Men
We have moved from Genesis 6:1 so far in this article showing the development of how mankind progressed or better said ‘regressed’ in their societies. Now let’s move onto Genesis 6:1, 2 and 4.
And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, (Genesis 6:1)
That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. (Genesis 6:2)
There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. (Genesis 6:4)
The phrase daughters of men is only mentioned in Scripture twice and both in Genesis Chapter 6 (six being the number of mankind). Notice in verse 1 that it is recorded that when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them. Not only were women born, but men were born also, however, the emphasize is on women. Oh, Oh . . . (since I am a woman writing this article I have complete liberty to tell it like it is). Let’s backtrack a bit. Eve (the first woman) was deceived. It wasn’t Adam who was deceived, but it was Eve. In her deception she influenced her mate to sin against God. She was created to help Adam . . . you understand the word ‘help’? The 31st Psalm is a great psalm for every woman to read about what it means to help a husband.
Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. (Psalm 31:10)
The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. (Psalm 31:11)
She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. (Psalm 31:12)
A godly woman would never do anything to hurt her husband. This is the psalm of a true help mate. Back to Genesis, Eve not only influenced Adam, but through her sway over Adam she took control over his actions. Adam, being the head in responsibility easily capitulated to Eve’s charms. The next women who are named were the daughters of Cain in Genesis Chapter 4, check on this link first before continuing on with this article.
Although Scripture contains many godly women, we should understand why God the Holy Spirit presents to us the women of the line of Cain first. In Chapter 6 of Genesis ‘daughters of men’ are the in the forefronts of the failure of the line of Seth to remain faithful to God, and the ‘daughters of men’ are connected directly to the ungodly line of Adam’s other children. ‘Daughters of men’ have always been the dominant influence used by Satan to destroy mankind. Oh, NO, what did I just write . . . isn’t the climate a dominant factor in man’s destruction! Don’t write that it is women who are destroyers. Let me write this a bit clearer. The DNA of sin is within all women and within all men. Satan (from the very beginning) has used evil, sinful, wicked women to sexually entice, control, dominant, and influence men.
Side Note: Somehow too many actually believe that women will not lie, that is a joke! Right at this exact moment that I am writing this, the United States is again being twisted into political knots by the lies of a woman. Notice, I said ‘lies’ not alleged lies. ‘I was assaulted 35 years ago.’ ‘I correct this statement, I was almost raped 35 years ago.’ ‘I again correct this statement, I feared that I would be killed.’ ‘I really can’t remember what actually happened, or where it happened, or when it happened, but I remember . . . let me remember, what actually do I remember?’ ‘Well, my memory therapist stimulated my memory,’ ‘Can’t remember what actually I can remember!’ ‘Never mind, I am a woman, therefore, I would never lie.’ By the time that this article is posted the political hatred will have moved on from this ‘alleged assault’ to another false flag created by the haters of God as they engineer another ‘news breaking exposé’ to bring down our elected President and the people who voted for him. But I had to include this current circus-show to help all to understand that ‘the daughters of men’ are not squeaky-clean women.
There is a deadly difference between godly women and ‘the daughters of men.’ To unmarried men of faith the following verses need to be heeded. Do not marry an unbeliever thinking that you will bring her to Christ after you marry. It is best to obey first what God has written. God will honor your obedience to His Word. Wait on God, He has the best for you! Never settle for what is so easily available for all, but wait for what God has just for you.
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? (2 Corinthians 6:14)
And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? (2 Corinthians 6:15)
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. (2 Corinthians 6:16)
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, (2 Corinthians 6:17)
And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. (2 Corinthians 6:18)
Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son. (Deuteronomy 7:3)
For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly. (Deuteronomy 7:4)
For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth. (Deuteronomy 7:6)
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. (Timothy 2:14)
But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: (1 Peter 2:9)
