Children Lead – Led by Those Without Understanding
And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.
And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable. (Isaiah 3: 4, 5)
The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves. (Isaiah 3:9)
These inspired words by Isaiah were directed primarily to the corrupt nation of Judah over 2700 years ago. The secondary application is directed to all nations who are corrupt and twisted in their evil — it is a timeless message. Throughout the New Testament we also read a message not only to the Church, but to all men. We need to understand the world we live in and the heart of man.
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. (2 Timothy 3:1-5)
The Bible is relevant — it is a daily newspaper — it is the only true news outlet — it is unmoveable in the message it sets forth — it does not change because of social and political agendas — it is a revealer of the acts, thoughts and intents of the heart.
