The Bondage of Religion versus the Liberty in Christ
Religion teaches a gospel of remaining sinners so that a religious organization can have control. Organized religion attempts to remove or deny that Christians are sons of God, and as children and sons of God, and heirs of Christ, we are in the position of priests and kings – redeemed sinners – set at liberty from all religions, thus set free from the control and manipulation of religious men and their organizations.
Religion is reformation, true Christianity is transformation. Christianity is not a religion, it is a revelation and a relationship. It is not founded on religious outward form of pomp and ceremony, but it is the revealing of God by the indwelling Spirit of God to the heart of the individual with an eternal bond to Christ.
