Fantasy World –

Fantasy World

The love of fantasy has finally achieved the most supreme fantasy of all. A fantasy government run by those who fantasize that they are working brilliantly. But the greatest fantasy of all is that they fantasize that they have been elected by adoring and knowledgeable subjects. Fantasy football should take a lesson from these experts. Fantasy television programs about reality. Fantasy sports played with pencils and pens. Fantasy schools educating students who are not there. Fantasy stock markets and fantasy financial experts who use fantasy money  that no one can hold in their hands. Fantasy news about events that have never happened. We do so love our fantasies. Even religion cannot be successful without fantasies. They fantasize about a God that they have to keep correcting, a God who can’t keep a little book safe from errors, so these religionists have to keep printing more books with more errors and more corrections. Their problem God has a cash flow problem, and they fantasize that God needs them to correct His inability to handle His finances. It doesn’t end there, however, because the people who populate fantasy world fantasize that they have fantasy body parts, sometimes visible and sometimes it’s all in their minds.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2nd Timothy 1:7)

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (Romans 12:2)

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, (Ephesians 4:17).

Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 1:13)
